The 3rd Iberoamerican Adsorption Symposium (IBA-3) will take place on 5-7 September 2018 at the Palacio de Congresos in Gijón, Asturias, Spain.
The IBA series of conferences started in 2012 in Brazil, with the idea of bringing together the Iberoamerican academic community interested in adsorption. The symposia were conceived as an important step for building up a network between Latin American and Iberian researchers in this field, aiming at encouraging the development of collaboration projects to generate and share scientific and technological knowledge. On this occasion, the symposium is merged with the 41st Iberian Adsorption Meeting (41 RIA), organized under the auspices of the Specialized Adsorption Group of the Spanish Chemistry Royal Society (RSEQ).
We expect this symposium to become another step towards the strong collaboration of research groups interested in issues of adsorption, with the perspective of building the Latin American Society of Adsorption and become a reference forum for the exchange of ideas and information between researchers and industrial practitioners in adsorption and related fields.
The 3rd Iberoamerican Adsorption School will be held on the 4th September, aiming to provide a current view of the developments in the application of adsorption in different fields. The school is addressed to students, scientist and industrial peers with common interests in the main fields of adsorption. The talks will be given by national and international experts in different topics related to adsorption, integrating fundamental and applied aspects related to adsorption, as well as theoretical-practical seminars.
